Beschreibung

These modules are covered in detail in the ITIL® 4 Plan, Implement and Control (PIC) training: Module 1: Module 1 provides an overview of the Plan, Implement and Control course consists of the five practices of change enablement, deployment management, release management, service configuration management and IT asset management. Module 2: The Change Enablement practice aims to ensure that changes to services and their components are controlled and that they meet the change-related needs of the organization. Authorized changes should enable the desired outcomes and meet the organization’s requirements in terms of change throughput (the number of changes made and the speed of change realization) and risk management. Flexibility and agility permeate this practice because they are key aspects of a modern organization. Module 3: The deployment management practice is responsible for moving a service or service component to a specific environment. This practice enables the deployment or removal of service components from or to different environments, including development, integration, live, production, test or staging environments. Module 4: The purpose of the release management practice is to make new and changed services and functions available for use. The release management practice ensures that services are available in accordance with the organization’s policies and agreements between the organization and its service consumers. Module 5: Organizations use resources to create and deliver products and services. These resources may be owned by the organization, or they may be available as part of a service that the organization consumes. The service configuration management practice collects and manages information about a variety of resources, typically including hardware, software, networks, buildings, people, suppliers, products, services and documentation. The resources within the scope of the practice are referred to as configuration items (CIs). Module 6: The purpose of the IT asset management practice is to plan and manage the entire lifecycle of all IT assets. Furthermore, you can test and consolidate your knowledge with a summary, a learning checklist at the end of a module. At the end of the course, an overall summary is available and you can test your knowledge with quiz questions.
